From Manila, there is a direct bus trip going to Marinduque. JAC Liner Bus has a daily trip from Kamias, Quezon City Bus Terminal and from their Buendia, Manila Bus Terminal. The bus departs daily at around 5:30pm, but you need to make a reservation or you need to be at their terminal before 5:30pm. The bus will travel from Manila to Talao Talao Port, Dalahican, Lucena City and then it will board a ferry from Lucena port to Marinduque.

There are also several buses bound to Talao Talao Port, Dalahican, Lucena City. You can go to Kamias Bus Terminal or Buendia Bus Terminal and just ask for buses bound directly to Talao Talao Port.
You can also ride a bus bound to Lucena City and from Lucena Grand Central Bus Terminal, ride a jeepney to Talao Talao Port or Dalahican Port.
From Talao Talao Port, Dalahican, Lucena City, there are several shipping companies that operates the Lucena to Marinduque route.
